I have a Rinnai MC-45 US. One morning, we had no hot water & the temp on the control panel read 12. So I pushed the Priority button. We now have hot water, but the priority button is still lit. It has been on for days. Is there a problem with the unit? Why would the light be on?

Error code 12 can sometimes be caused by a short circuit on the low voltage side of the installation. Could possibly be a fault with the controller itself which is low voltage.
