I have a Robinair 34134Z It will not recover freon It has 22HG suction The solenoid is working properly Auto freon goes back through the valves to the solenoid and the suction pulls 22 hg at the solenoid but will not charge the storage tank. The solinoid opens properly with power too. I'm stumped unless there is a blockage somewhere else. It doesn't seem to have much pressure where it goes back out of the compressor but not sure how much it should have, I can easily stop the flow with my finger. If I take the fill line off the storage tank low pressure flow is always there if the valves are open and connected to the auto, it stops if I close the valves

Please check the following: 1# Check the recovered amount of refrigerant since the last filter change(Max.filter cap.150 LBS/68 KG).If more then this you must change spin-on filter & vacuum pump oil.2# Check with vacuum gauge on compressor test(During compressor running) port & make sure it has 13"HG of suction,If suction less then 13''HG then you have to replace the compressor.3# Check all tank hose (Vaipor,Air purge & Liquid) is connected on the ISV tank quick seal.(Do not over tight).Hope this will solve your problem.
