UN65F6300AF We replaced all the inside parts, i.e., power supply board and main board and wires still nothing, sent to repair place they say new boards, I said I have boards that I ordered and dropped them off to them, they tried them ,per him, and still nothing and that it was a screen issue?! I didn't know a "broken" screen in hiss, the tv was wall mounted, then placed directly flat to put parts in. He says it's a samsung issue, I didn't know that screen issues can cause power issues, he says that's why the new boards aren't working, is this a line of crock or is it possible? I was reading and did a ton of research and I see compositor issues, it's a year old tv, bought 12/31/15 and died no warning nothing 1/20/16 and manif warranty ended 1/9/16 . $1900. Down the drain if it is a screen issue? 1000$ to get fixed. SOoo does a faulty screen cause power issues ?

No. But a faulty screen will provide no picture even if all of the respective boards are good. Get another opinion and U might check on ebay to see if someone is parting one out for parts and you can get a screen for a lot less money.
Bad screen should not affect audio portion of set. U sure the PS is any good? Seems to me you might want to deal with some other outfit since your current dude is ...............
That's what I was thinking .. I'm definitely going to get a second opinion, just sucks cost 75$ & 2 weeks!! I just know it's not the screen unless they did something ??
