December 2020 1 14 Report
I have a series of 7 kidde ionization smoke alarms model 1276 hardwired with battery back up. The problem is all of the alarms will go off during the middle of the night for no apparent reason. The only way to stop them is to trip the breaker. Then the alarms beep periodically every 1 or 2 minutes so we disengage the battery. Obviously this is not a safe way to solve the problem since we now have no smoke alarm system. What are your suggestions to solve this problem?
