The rubber grip that surrounds the barrel comes off which is very hard to remove without stretching it out of shape. Once off the screws can be removed to add a few drops of solvent to loosen the stiffness
We used to warm the assembly slightly, and then use graphite grease very carefully, on the slide...work it in & out, a few times... a good quality penetrating oil can also carefully, applied too, & can free up and make it run smoother. Just be gentle. but firm.
Hello. Get an aerosol can of a penetrating lubricant called WD-40, with a tiny spray tube attached. Use it sparingly and apply a wee amount around the part that you can reach. Reapply as needed. Joe
