I have a Sony sound bar and and RCA tv. The units are connected with an HDMI cable; (ARC) connections. Sound bar is set to HDMI and HDMI for audio is checked on the tv
All works great until you turn the units off. Turning them back on the HDMI check box on the tv is no longer checked and the sound bar goes back to ANALOG. Reset as above and all is well. How can I keep the ARC setting.

What happens if you leave the sound bar ON and shut the TV off then on ?
