I have a sony vaio v505bx when i pres the power butten the boot led and the power led flash once then nothing. When i plug the ac adapter in the power led flashes like it is charging the battery but thats it. i now is a bit vague but can any body help?!

I had same problem with my HP dv9922us. it is ether the power switch or the motherboard overheated and cooked. wish i had better news but there are not much to laptops.
