I have a sta rite model # p2ra5f182L. The pump is about 6 yrs old and sounds like the bearings are getting ready to go. Can I replace the motor or should I replace the the whole unit?

This is the best pump out there. ya fix it !look for your local pool pump repair guy and have him do a bearing job on it about 75.00.. i love these pumps. when you pick up your pump ask him how to take better care of it..... jay longwood florida
