I have a Teac D250 CD recorder it used to use TDK XA80 CD-R discs these are off the market and no other disc seems to work . It displays D-Unclock when I try . Is there a code to unlock this so that I can use it again? Pete
Audio Players & Recorders - Teac - RW-D200 / RW-D250 Dual-Deck CD Player and CD-R/CD-RW...
You have to look for input selection and make sure whatever way your recording from is connected. If you doing digital to digital, make sure the optical line is connected and the other is powered on. if it's analog or input or other also the same. I think it needs to recognize the other device. This is info from my teac rw d200. I love this and also use these disc's and maybe they would work on yours. The CD's MUST be made for Audio Burners and I recommend these two kinds...The label below MUST be printed on the CD's in order to work.
these RW and all purpose are whatever you can find online. The RW just became discontinued. I bought some 2 years ago.

Your error doesn't sound like anything related to media.
On another Teac model (Tascam CD-RW700) I found D-In Unlock meaning:
"A digital input source has been selected, but the source is not connected or is not switched on."
Take a clue from that and check the source or go analog.
