While mowing, the blades stopped turning. I used my electrical tester to check the circuits and determined that the PTO swith contacts weren't working properly. The switch is DPDT so I move the wires to the other switch. The PTO came on but quit again after a half hour or less. When I pulled the push/pull knob on the switch it came out of the mecanism. The plastic end was melted. I replace the switch and the same thing happened. I don't know if it is the voltage regulatro or the clutch. Any suggestions?
