I have a Trillium Breadman TR-500 breadmaker, which I haven't used in several years. When I tried to use it today, I kept getting the message E-02 and a lot of beeping. What's wrong?
I just pulled out the instruction manual, and it says: E:02 Displays when you press Start button: The Breadman is too cold. Unplug the machine and allow it to heat up to room temperature, then try again.
I don't know how you're supposed to let it heat up to room temperature if you've had it in a room with a nice room temperature with it unplugged, but that's what the manual says.
If the pan is not placed properly to activate the sensor, you will get a buzzing to warn you. Most machines though if there is a message screen will say "PAN"

I tried the dryer and it worked!! Go Figure,
Great idea...it worked using a blow dryer to heat it up!
