I have a troy bilt 4 cycle. I have had it for awhile, it has always run well for me in the past. I can get it to start, it will idle a bit. i can pull the trigger part way but to much throttle and it dies. or even being on to long it dies. how do i fix it

Clean the carburetor. and make sure the screen in the carburetor is clean and clear. your best to take it out and spray a drop of carb clean and burn it off. also make sure the fuel filter is clean to. the diaphrams may be a little stiff so clean them to.
