I have a used f350 with 6.0 diesel 2004 model. i can not move the shifter after starting the truck sounds like neutral safety buuuuuuut i cant seem to find it !!!! any idea where it is ??

Your vehicle has a safety system that won't allow the gear selector to be moved from park , unless your foot is pushing the brake pedal . Do the brake light's work when pressing the brake pedal ? Locking solenoid inside the steering column - electrically controlled .
Shift Interlock System
The shift interlock system prevents the shifting from PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed. The shift interlock system consists of a shift lock actuator mounted at the base of the steering column tube. If the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the shift lock actuator is continually on unless the brake pedal is depressed.
The neutral safety switch has nothing to do with it not shifting out of park.
