I have a very old IBM thinkpad laptop and the srceen is very dull
The screen is very very dull, and its hard to reed the screen, and i can not find anything that will adjust it on the keypad, or around the laptop, ive looked in the controll settings and still no luck, please help me!!!!

Go into your bios at start up press f2,del or f8 and you'll see some kind of brightness control pretty sure but their is several thinkpads

This from the troubleshooting guide :
A lowered brightness setting may cause the display to appear dim.
Press and hold the Fn key and then press the Home key to increase the LCD brightness setting.
