That is one peculiar focal length- in fact, I think you have given us the filter thread size (62mm diameter fitting filter). So I can't comment on the lens as I am not sure what it is.
There are some Canon digital cameras that can take the lenses from the old SLR film camera range, so if this is an interesting lens, like a zoom or telephoto, it might be worth something. Most film camera stuff now is unwanted, unless it is collectable. A Vivitar lens with a Canon mount is not collectable. These were less expensive third party lenses, not the top whack Canon made ones.
