I have a W reg 2000 kawasaki GPZ 500 s, with an eletrical fault. I was told it was probably the wiring or the generator, so I put a second hand wiring loom on it but it still wouldn't work, so I bought another bike the same (that runs) to inter change the bits to find out where the fault is. I have swapped the generator both ecu's coils ect but I still carn't get a spark. I have a live wire to the coil low tention lead but I can not get a spark at the plug. any one got any ideas. Thanks Peter

Do you have a circuit diagram. have you traced the system through. Sounds to me like it is an issue before all that, either with the junction box or IC igniter. The stop switch could also be an issue as could the ignition switch. Keep posting if you want me to have a closer look at my wiring diagram
