I have already described the problem. the freezer temperature keeps going up and down the red light is flashing all the time. As we are not able to get an engineer until next Thursday almost 12 days since problem started what can we do ? We did get a local man to look but all he said was that the freezer was frozen solid at the back and we better just get another freezer. I just want this one repaired as it is only about 2 years old and is an ideal freezer for whatwe need. Please can you help! Janet

Set the temp control to max cold. Also, the thermocouple coud be touching something where it shouldn't.
Empty the freezer and reset. Also you may not know this but any lost food stuffs could be covered under the freezers warranty.
