I have an 01 Mercury cougar, the driver rear turn signal isn't working. We've already tested with a good bulb replaced the wand, we're thinking the socket isn't getting power, how do we find the correct wires in the steering column

If the front turn signals are working then the switch is good. Rare for the power to both rear turn signals to go bad. But check the blue and blue/red wires from the turn signal switch. Blue provide turn signal power to left rear and blue/red to the right rear
