I HAVE AN 87 ACURA INTEGRA.I WONT GO OVER 30 MPH WITH OUT JERKING OR SOUNDING LIKE ITS OUT OF GAS. I HAVE A FAIRLY NEW FUELPUMP ON IT NEW FUEL FILTER AND CHEKED THE FUEL PRESSURE 60PSI . IT CRANKS AND RUN IDLE FINE. IS THERE SOME SENSOR OR RELAY BAD?
If one of the sensor goes bad, you will see PGM-FI check engine light would come on. The normal fuel pressure for this car is between 36 to 41 psi. Check for pinched or clogged fuel return hose or piping. Check the fuel pressure changes by removing the vacuum tube on the top of the fuel pressure regulator and next check the pressure this time with pinching on the return hose that is attached to the pressure regulator. You will need to put a shop towel over the return hose and use pliers. If no change in the pressure reading, replace the fuel pressure regulator.
