I have an Abit IC7 G motherboard and I can't get sound. I just reformatted windows XP. Updated drive etc. But under my Other Devices in Device Manager it has a "?" on "Multimedia Audio Controller" As far as I know I have my Driver updated. Atleast I have downloaded what claimed to be it. From 5 different sites lol. None change the problem. When I go to my Sound and Audio Devices Properties it says " No Audio Device " Any help would be awesome!
Hi, If you can locate the chipset on the mainboard for the sound card. then download driver from other manufacturer .. You will see for eg Intel ac97 or realtek audio something like that.. For your mainboard configuration it may be Realtek Audio driver
