I have an Advent Television Model Q2035A and would like to know if I am going to need a converter box for it? I have an old timey antenna that rises above my house' roof. The wiring on it is spliced for older tv's. I need to know how and where I can connect this type of antenna to the back of my Advent tv? I appreciate your help on this! Thanks, Faith

Yes you will most certainly need a converter box. At Radioshack you should still be able to get the piece that you would attach the spliced wiring to.One side of the piece I'm talking about has a screw for each one of the Y shaped spliced ends to attach to. Sometimes there are two places to attach things and sometimes there are four so buy the one that best fits your needs. Then the other side of the piece has the male part that will attach to the female antenna in part on the converter box. Then a cable goes from one of the outs on the converter box to one of the ins on the television.
