I have an old Cincinnati Bell caller ID box, Atlinks Model No. 29093EE1-A. When I hook it up to my phone line, it doesn't show calls, but gives a NO DATA message when a call comes in

That box may have come with a power adapter that has to be plugged into a wall receptacle.
