I am not sure how old a 110 is. The usual thing to do is remove the carburetor and clean it. That means removing the bottom of it too. Carefully done! clean it with gas in a small can if really dirty or if it is clean then dont even remove it. Remove the spark plug and squirt some marvel mystery oil in the cylinder. Not a lot either or too little. Enough to make it enough to circle the cylinder. Tip it up so the oil will run down the cylinder wall. Then after a while you will be able to safely move the piston in the cylinder by pulling the crank rope easy. then once this is done you can pull the rope faster until the oil is pushed out by the air going in and out of cylinder. Now put a new spark plug in and gap the plug to the proper specs. Before you actually put the spark plug in, you need to attach the coil wire to it and make sure the base of the plug is touching the metal on the cylinder wall. Crank on the saw and see if you have any spark to the plug. If so proceed on. You need a spark and fuel to make it work. If you have the spark all is left is the fuel. You will need to mix a new batch of chain saw oil-gas mix to the gas. make sure you mix it exactly as possible. Over mix it and it will smoke like crazy and not be good for it. Eventually it will build up gunk in the exhaust and fall back into the cylinder and ruin it. Same thing if you don't mix enough, you r saw wont get lubricated properly and ruin it. It gets its lubrication through the gas mix. After you run the saw for a while, always look at the exhaust screen. The color of it indicates if your saw is running properly. If it is white it is running hot. meaning not enough oil in the mix and improperly tuned at the carburetor meaning running lean. The color should be brown, not white or black. I would hope you empy old gas from saw first. Put new mixed gas in, just a little and swirl it around abit then dump it out. Now you can refill. Oh inside the fuel tank is a filter at the bottom of the hose. That needs to be changed if it is bad. If it is it wont let gas in. Also make sure the gas cap vent hole is not plugged. Choke it and try and start it. Once it cackles then move the choke to half way or off. try it again. It helps to have a bit of throttle while doing this. Once it is running it should smoke a bit from the marvel mystery oil, but that is OK. Once you have run it for a while say about 10 minutes, then give it the throttle real fast. Does it die or does it speed up? If it wants to die then turn the low speed screw on the carb slightly to the left and try again until when you hit the throttle it is responsive. Now rev it up a bit, but don't let it scream. Now adjust the high speed screw on the carb until it speeds up to not cackling anymore then turn it back ccw until it starts to blubber again. Right at that point between the two and just slightly ccw. This keeps it from screaming (running too fast). That will be too much for it and get it hot and ruin it. while running it, when cutting something, always let it come up for air so to speak. That means let up for a second and hit the throttle again. also this usually gives a slight puff of smoke each time you do this, which is also helping to lubricate the cylinder and also gives it a chance to cool down a second or two. Never stick you chain in the dirt or it will not be sharp anymore. chains cannot cut dirt, not even the slightest. If you ever touch the dirt while the saw is running, it is time to sharpen the saw again. Hope this helps. You don't need to change points and such like a car. Indeed older saws had points but newer ones do not. Even then you only needed to clean the points with a small point file and the then regap them to proper specs. So all in all a tune up is really not much. a good cleaning and a new plug, Maybe a new starter rope etc. Hope this gives you some idea on how to do it. You should be fine.
