I have an old montgomert ward space heater mod 313 and would like to be able to us it, but when it is running you can not stay in the same room.\r\nThe fumes are terrible. I had to adjust the air to reduce the smoke and now the fumes whats the problem?

Sounds like your "old Montgomery Ward Space Heater" has given up the ghost. Frankly, it's time to replace it. Even under the best conditions (even with routine maintainence) they don't last forever. Continuing to try to use it, becomes a safety & health issue.
