I have an overheating 1948 Bentley Mk VI. The top of the radiator was hot but the bottom was cold. I've flushed the radiator. I suspect that my water pump may have failed. Could it be anything else?

Pump or Thermostat.
Yeah, maybe. I used to do this. I just replace them. Have had old and new T stats stick. Leave the T stat out and see what it does. Gets hot, then go after the pump. Replace the T stat also. Automatic with me.
