I have an universal Remote control from Radio Shack and I'm trying to program channels for my 1995 Phillips TV. Philips model number is PL5120 C121 Radio Shack universal remote version 15-302 I stay in a place where everyone has cable and my room is only receiving channels 2-13 and when I turn the TV I have channel 25 but once I change the channel I dont have channel 25 any longer and when I enter channel 21 etc it say its not available please help!!!

I got plenty of codes for you to try now you bought a newer remote that might not have 1995 code-base so do not kill the messenger for a no resolve here, Now i can solve your issue and that is www.remotes.com they would be able to put you into a factory remote for that tv. Radio shack remotes give or take are one of the cheap models there are other so I encourage you to read my tip.

Ether way here you might have to get another brand remote or do one better on this issue. Now if no codes are working its probably the TV ir sensor not picking up and thus a new sensor would need ot be put into it. but anyhow here it goes. Do not shoot the messenger.
