I have been having trouble with my car stereo system
After i installed a battery capacitor i started having trouble with my system just shutting off for no reason. After I go in the trunk and just move around wires it comes back on. what do you think could be the cause. Im thinking it is the ground wire not being properly connected but could that cause the entire system to shut off if not connected. I dont think it is a power problem because the radio still stays turned on, just no sound is playing. so maybe an antenna wire problem. please help. and could u also tell me how to properly install the battery capacitor to make sure that isnt the problem to begin with my system just shuts off while driving down the road i have a 5 farad cap....four rockford fosgate 12's and a rockford fosgate 2400 watt amp and i just put in a yellow top battery so any help with this it's starting to **** me off

First reinspect your power and ground connections, vibration may have loosened them.
Then be sure that amp location has proper ventilation, (overheating will cause shout down)
A 2400 in a closed space will definitely need exhaust fans to help circulate cool air around the amp.
The cap should be mounted close to the amp and properly charged before use. It is connected in-line with the main power lead paying close attention to the power in and power out terminals.
Power in = from the battery
Power out = to the amp
Good luck
