I have been using skype IM for a while now with no probs at all. It's been great. Just about 2 weeks ago though all my messages started hanging with "not delivered yet" notices. This happens regardless of whether both parties are online. Often I am online but my friend says I show up as "offline". I have been searching forums for an answer, Have tried re-installing and clearing history as per recommendations but nothing has worked. Please help. I have had to resort to Gtalk but skype IM is much better

often such problems are caused by either a firewall on your computer or on your modem.
Make sure the Skype is on the allowed or trusted programs list in your firewall, some ports might need to be opened. Skype uses somewhat random ports, try turning off your firewall for a moment and see if it helps.

it worked fine few weeks ago, noting has changed and now its not working. I don't know what the issue could be. if that was the case then I couldn't do anything to solve the problem.
something probably has changed. Try using another computer for skype IM, a machine that is not connected wirelessly. If the problems go away then the issue is related to your wireless or something in your machine.
Either your connection has stopped working properly in the last few weeks or something has been changed on your machine.
Can you list all the changes done to the machine in the last few weeks if everything works properly on another machine.
