I have bought 2 fryers within a year and a half and they both burned out. I love the fryer but they don,t last. Now I have to go out and buy a new fryer again. The wiring burns out at the switch.I bought 3 more as christmas gifts and am hoping they last.I am very disapointed as they are a good fryer

This problem cannot be fixed. For the second time, the wires to the switch burned right out and cannot be fixed. I have to buy a new fryer again.
