I have codes C1242 & C1300 (fault in ECU) and they want me to replace the ECU for $1,800 but I have a extended warranty for the actuator. They say it is not the same. What say You. Thanks

Actuator is for the door locks. The cars that have a lot of electronics in them now have separate and specific warranty for electronics and it is additional to any other extended warranty. Look on Ebay for an ECM
