I have Creative Keepsakes Scrapbook, which works fine.Neither my PrintShop 2.0 nor my Deluxe III work - would that be because I have Windows XP?Anyway, my question is about PrintMaster Platinum 16.I like the program, but it is SUCH a nuisance to be changing discs every step you take. Is there some way at least to load the program disc onto my computer so all I have to do is use the 3 art discs when required, instead of jumping back and forth all the time?I have no idea what any of my serial numbers are, or which email I used when I bought the programs. ...but I must be on your data base since I occasionally receive email ads. Thanks

Hi, I am Steve, lets get you some help This is how to do it for version 17 so it should be very similar or even the same for version 16
Please insert the "Install CD" into your drive
Go to my computer (icon on the desktop or in your start menu)
Right click on the CD drive containing the disk
Left click open
Inside this CD is a folder called setup double click the Folder
Inside the setup folder is a setup executable (looks like a bluish gray box with two triangles in it) double click this
Wait for the installer to initialize and click next
If the program is already installed click modify then next. If not click custom install
This will bring you to the custom setup screen where you will see approximately 6-7 different title including program CD art disk 1 and art disk 2. Three of the icons next to the drive letters are going to look like CDs and three will look like hard drive icons. Click each of the CD Icons one at a time and a drop down menu will appear.
Select this feature and all of its sub features will be installed to the hard drive from the menu. (This will change the CD icon into a hard drive icon.)
I have raised a ticket to get your personal details removed - should happen within the next 24 hours. At the moment it is only visible to experts on the site not the general user community.
As to why the other installation fails, I do not know the answer to that without seeing the error message you get.
It could be as simple as a dirty or scratched disk or maybe a pre-requisite not available on your machine such as a service pack or the version of dot net. try to install it and tell me the error that appears when it fails. I should be able to give you an answer.
If you do not get an error message is probably damaged disks, you could ask for replacement disks if you still have proof of purchase.I have raised a ticket to get your personal details removed - should happen within the next 24 hours. Ok, you may be getting other answers from other people now as your question unlocked when I did not respond in 4 hours. I Don't think it will lock to me again as I already have an answer in process.
Interesting that you don't get much of an error. It does work with XP. Try this link
Yes, you can do that. You need to copy the disks on your pc as a an iso file using this http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/MPEG_Audio_Players_and_Editors/SID_DVD_Backup_Creator.html then, install and use a virtual disk unit like http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/Virtual-CD-DVD-Rom/Virtual-CloneDrive.shtml BTW both other programs work on XP SP3 so make sure your pc is fully updated and that you installed it correctly.
By installed correctly i mean that all dependencies are met: Microsoft® .NET Framework v3.5 and DirectX® 9.0c are already installed and your pc has at least 1.5GB of RAMBy installed correctly i mean that all dependencies are met: Microsoft® .NET Framework v3.5 and DirectX® 9.0c are already installed and your pc has at least 1.5GB of RAM
