I have great difficulty in finding my gmail. One account is never recognised and the other accepts my password but doesn't open emails, just my profile
This problem is a bit better on my iMac but very problematic on my iPad

Maybe you need to drop all your accounts and create one by one in your imac
In iPad only you need to download the app GMAIL and thats all
