I have inherited a Riccar 829E sewing machine. The shuttle has been loosened on its axle and I am now not sure how to align it so that the needle does not hit it on its downward stroke and so that the needle can pick up the bobbbin thread. Is there a way to know where the shuttle should correctly sit on the axle?
