I have it hooked up i just using it for a pa system i have a crappy wire from the EXT speaker port in the back i need to know where to get a good wire from the radio to the external speaker for it to work right
For this keep it simple and cheap. Go to your local hardware store and get some 14 gauge copper wire (stranded not solid.) Get the length you need x 2. Cut it in half. Strip all the ends and unsolder the old wire. Then solder 1 end from each new wire to the same spots on the speaker terminal. That takes care of your speaker end. Now we just need to get you fixed up from the CB end. For this you need a 3.5mm mono jack. Just like the ones from a normal set of Walkman headphones, etc. They are cheap at your local Radio Shack or local electronics store. Solder one side of each wire to each terminal on the jack. Then you can either tape it or use a piece of shrink tube to finish it off. Good luck.
