I have just disconnected the inlet pipes on my Zanussi FJ1296 Washing machine but forgot to look which way round the go for putting them back - I can see no indication on the machine as to which inlet is for hot and which for cold - any ideas?

Inner one is hot and outer one is cold.
to check after fitting hoses, put on rinse program and only cold water should come in. if hot water comes in then you have the hoses wrong way round.
