Take a Phillips screwdriver and insert it into one of the three holes you would normally install the removal tool. Use one that it closest to the size of the hole. With a large vise grip or channel-lock pliers, clamp onto the outer ring of the chuck (where the teeth are) and clamp tightly. Holding the screwdriver, rotate the pliers to loosen the chuck and remove the bit.
