The problem is in the inverter. Replace all the capacitors in the inverter and you'll get it back to work. The inverter is a module inside wich is responsable with the display backlight. You can buy whole module (inverter) from the internet. Before that you should know: the working voltage (can be measured on the central big capacitor pins located near the connector plug); The number of lamps (see how many pink wires get out to the back of the display). Usualy the LCD tv's have inside two boards. One is the logic board and the other is the inverter. Sometimes these two modules are on the same board. If they are separated, they are conected togheter with 4 main wires: ON (power on command), DIM (dimmer command), NEG (negative), POS (positive wire).
