I have no signal with the video component (Y, Pb and Pr)

I bought a video component (Y, Pb and Pr), I connected them to the TV and the TV sais there's no signal. What is going on?

You may have to set-up the DVD player for component (Y,Pb,Pr) output instead of S-video. You may have to set DVD player to progressive-scan or 720p or 1080 video out, also.
