I have pro express 12 in my restaurant, the problems comes when we try to split tickets some times it works fine but most of the time it locks up the computer and then have to restart, after restart we are not able to pull that ticket back up without locking up computer again

I'll assume that you are beyond the 3 months of free tech support. Have you tried reloading RPE? This will sometimes cure odd problems such as this. Are you using a server with workstations? You may need to reload SQL on the server. Always do a backup before attempting this.
