Software conflicts occur more than you would think.
IMHO, the most stable platform is Linux. Windows XP Pro is the most stable Operating system Micro$oft has put out ever.
The conflict is somewhere in the software.
either Quickbooks or Kodaks printer software.
The most likely cause is the Kodak printer software.
There is a reason why the printer ink is so cheap. Because of the questionable and oft disparaged software that is packaged with it.
I suggest updating your kodak printer drivers and / or completely uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
