I have reset my laptop and i lost empire total war. So i have tried to reinstall it by entering the disk. I have got to where it comes up product activation and i have entered the serial key. after that duplicate product code comes up and i cannot get it working. Is the a way around this?

You need to phone to Sega, explain the situation, provide a proof of purchase and they will give you a new key for free.
