I have Sigma DP1. There is one problem - when I shoot in sunny weather, I have light pink color instead of white color. How its possible to change white balance?
This camera gets low marks for "White Balance" ease of use. Results are "inconsistent".
A much more reliable way is to change saving images in camera from JPEG to RAW format. Using the included Sigma Photo Pro (SPP) RAW converter that is provided on a CD-ROM (the software can also be downloaded from the Sigma Website) with the camera, makes adjusting the white balance much easier. The downside is that is an additional step that must be done on a computer instead of getting pictures straight out of the camera. The upside is the huge amount of control you get by shooting RAW in the editing mode on the computer. You can read more about JPEG vs RAW here. Outside of shooting RAW, there's little to be done about poor white balance IN the camera.
I hope this was helpful. Please rate my reply. Thank you.
