I have some sort of object in the hose of my Epic 6500. I have tried reversing the hose and blowing out the foreighn piece of debeis but this has not worked. Is there a way to remove the plastic connector end to access this end of the hose? Or is there another solution to this problem?
By reversing it, I assume you plugged the hose into the exhaust blower on the top of the machine. If so, insert the other end into the intake and turn one the vacuum. This way the clog is also getting sucked at what should be the loose end. If it's a sock or similar item, it will be more difficult. Yes, the handle can be removed, but can sometimes be a bit difficult to put back together for someone not real sure of what they're doing. I've seen several hoses ruined by having sharp or pointed objects inserted to clear a clog, cutting the hose and/or wiring, and ending up burning it up. I recommend taking it to a shop and letting a trained technician take care of it. An authorized Aerus Electrolux dealer would be best.
