I have started to replace the water pump, took of the bracket holding the engine to the chassis on the pass. side to remove the timing cover, but, the bracket will not come off completely, the engine is too close to the chassis. Do I need to lower the engine support bracket?
Engine Mount Bracket Assembly Removal: Place a garage jack against the engine oil pan with a piece of wood in between, jack up the engine so that the weight of the engine is no longer being applied to the engine mount bracket, and then remove the engine mount bracket.
