Hi, http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us go to the above link and select your product, then download the manual from the site. Follow the step mentioned there on. Your query will be solved. Still you face same problem then your newly purchased adapter is faulty. Get it replaced. In rare case newly purchase adapter can also be faulty... Thanks..
Not helpful. I already had the manual. I finally figured it out. The network key had to be entered in Hex not ASCII. I googled a converter and reentered the network keys in the advanced section of the adapter tab. Not helpful. I already had the manual. I finally figured it out. I think you will have to turn DHCP OFF, in the "Adapter" AP. There should be only ONE DHCP Server, and this usually this is the Router, connected to the Internet via the inbuilt modem. So you should set the "Master" WiFi Modem/Router, as DHCP Server. The other, MUST have DHCP set to OFF as well. Also don't forget to turn OFF DHCP in services in the PC itself too. Also remember that when you connect up, with a USB unit, usually by default, it uses the 10.0.0.0 network, However everything else uses 192.168.0.0 base network, this can screw things up too. make sure everyone is on the same network address.
