I have the Nordictrack C2500, and for the second time the main board double beats when trying to start it. You press a button for speed, incline, the fan, anything and it double beats and won't start. The last time they we called support and she had no idea what was wrong and just sent up a whole new mother board for the treadmill. I can't believe that is the only fix. What is the problem with this machine?

You have a wire harness that attaches the upper board to the lower board. You may have to pull that harness thru the uprights ( Attach a fishing line so you can either pull a new harness thru or the original one ) and inspect it for snags crimps or broken wires also use a meter to a continuity check on the harness ends. Since the the command signals travel thru this harness also check all connections on the lower board. Its starting point
