I have the same problem, too!
Blue light, no picture. Husband called Olevia and spoke to a foreign speaking technician. Jumped through hoops- no help. Downloaded an upgrade(?) and installed it. No help either. This tv is only 8 months old!

If your LCD is 8 months old, still under manufacturers warranty. I would call them back and ask them to provide you with a telephone number of their nearest service center to you and have it repair under warranty. The failure is with the video board or main board.
