I have to keep replacing the flapper on my duravit toilet to stop it from constantly refilling due to leaking. Why is this happening? I replaced the last one 4 months ago. How can i prevent this?
This Fluidmaster worked the first time. https://www.amazon.com/Fluidmaster-555CRP8-Universal-PerforMAX-Minute/dp/B00002N6MI/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?keywords=fluidmaster+flapper&qid=1565727666&s=gateway&sprefix=fluidmaster&sr=8-9
To seal the flapper you need its mating surface clean and smooth, and the flapper has to be smooth and clean at the mating surface and meeting surfaces have to be on the same plane..if all is clean and surfaces meet perfectly..check for alternate seepage areas.

Are you sure the flapper is dropping back down? Theflush handle may be sticking and holding the flapper valve up.
