Check the brass bolt that holds the carb bowl on. It's the main jet and is prone to getting clogged from dried gas...gum/varnish. Inspect it closely and clean with carb cleaner as it has some very small holes in it on the smooth part above the threads. If this unit has a primer bulb, the airway for it to the carb could be blocked. Remove housing and inspect.
