I have two kicker cvrs wired at a 2 ohm load, one of the subs sounds perfect but the other sub puts out good bass but distorts and pops loud at high volumes... I dont understand... i checked all my wires, all my screws are tight and all my coils are perfect....is my amplifier clipping? could it be that yhe speaker wire running to that sub is shorter than the wire running to the other? is it slowly blowing? I dont know whats wrong?

Sounds like the sub is blown. Swap the two subs and see if the sound comes from the other sub in the original location as well. If not, then you have a bad sub. If the bad sound happens with both subs then you need to look at wiring and the Amp.
